Job Brief

We are looking to hire an experienced Stockbroker to join our team who is familiar with all the ins and outs of investment opportunities within the market.

A Stockbroker’s responsibilities include analyzing stocks, helping clients invest wisely by understanding their needs for different returns on investments or risks involved in each option.

Ultimately, you will work directly with clients, educate them on different investment options and oversee the success of their accounts.

Responsibilities

• Providing accurate investment advice to clients
• Evaluating financial reports
• Managing clients’ investment portfolios
• Provide regular updates to clients regarding the status of their investment portfolios
• Inform clients of new investment opportunities within the stock market
• Source new clients through networking and cold calling
• Make changes in investment strategies based on market conditions

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Stockbroker or similar role
• Sound knowledge of how financial markets operate
• Proficient in IT and mathematics
• The ability to evaluate complex information
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent negotiation skills
• A bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or business is preferred
